he mumbled under his breath with a sigh. Perhaps one day he'd meet them or even get back home safely. However, what happened to him may not only happen to his world. Perhaps other homes were destroyed as well as others dragged here from home like he was. However, he sighs hoping nobody has this happened to them. If it did, he hoped they were safe and sound as well like he was. Looking at the sunset, he hoped that everyone who did get dragged here found a way home. If it meant sacrificing himself for the good of everyone else, it'd be worth it. Finishing up his food, he continued to stay there, just watching the sunset. It reminded him so much of his childhood as well as his teacher. He remembered for a gift she brought him to the beach. With a smile, he wondered if anyone else was like him here at this beach.[/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote]

She doesn't know wrong from right She doesn't know when to fight Another Sunny Day C'mon get out There was something about today. Wandering in from the woods. Bodhum had become her favorite place on Pulse for some reason. She loved it. All the strange food she'd never tried before and the ocean. The smell of the salt sticking to her throat and her hair. It was refreshing. Especially after dealing with people and fiends for the Academy all day. On her release days Rikku fled to New Bodhum, free from her duties for the time being. Currently she had ditched the skirt and the scarf, leaving the scarf tied to a chair and her skirt lying beside it. Beneath her skirt was a pair of matching bikini bottoms. They matched the top she constantly wore. Her shoes she left under the chair. Nothing like getting in the water every now and then. Underneath the surface Rikku could pretend she was still on Spira and nothing had changed. Of all the differences, the ocean looked the same for Spira and Pulse.
Maybe, somehow, it was the same sea. Rikku sat at the edge of the beach chair now, undoing the bandanna that held her hair up in the strange way she liked to wear it. As she tied the blue fabric to the chair also her wild blonde hair fell around her shoulders and down her back in a few braids. The rest of her hair was free to do as it wished in the wind. Standing now Rikku made a rush for the water. Building speed, she stopped abruptly before her feet met the blue water. Dipping her toe into the surface Rikku cringed. The water was kind of chilly today. She looked around. There wasn't very many people there today. Behind her was a boy and a dog. To her right was an older boy doing much like she was but less swimming. He was more of enjoying the scenery.
By the time Rikku was done soaking in the salt water there was no one else in the water and the sun was sinking low in the sky. It sunk behind the ocean. As if the ocean was grabbing the sun and sinking it into her cold depths to allow night to take it's turn. It always marveled Rikku to watch the sunset in the water. It was definitely a site to see. Her stomach told her it was supper time.
Making her way out of the water she reacquired her other pieces of clothing, slipping the skirt over her wet bottoms. She carried her scarf and her bandanna while quickly slipping her feet into her boots. The worst part about the beach was wet sandy feet. Her nose crinkled up as she walked, the sound gritting her feet inside her boots. The guy from the water earlier was there. She entered the door-less hut and made her way to the counter. Making a quick order Rikku took her food and drink over to where the blonde man was sitting, smiling to himself. She sat abruptly, placing her tray and drink onto the round two seated table with a loud thud, "You look kinda lonely. Thought I'd sit with you since you look about as lost as I am. Rikku here. That is, my name anyways," Rikku smiled over at him, not thinking that maybe he was enjoying his alone time. © to DANI

he said with a sigh, beginning to notice his cheeks started to turn a soft red. He wasn't particularly good around girls, but he didn't want to be rude to her. Looking down at his lap, he tried to hide his ever blushing and embarrassed face. He hoped it didn't seem too obvious to her as he tried to calm himself down. "So umm... M-M-Miss Rikku, w-what about you? Are you a native of t-this place?" he asked, uncertain of how to start a conversation. He feared she'd find him boring to talk to and leave, which would be good for his nervousness but it was still nice to talk to someone. People usually took one glance and didn't seem to enjoy his aura. However, she just upfront came over and spoke to him like they had been friends for so long. He originally didn't know how to act in front of a lady, and he was still a bit nervous being around her. Hopefully she didn't catch wind of his nervousness as he tried to constantly calm his nerves.[/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote]

She doesn't know wrong from right She doesn't know when to fight Another Sunny Day C'mon get out Rikku flinched at the severity of his awkwardness. As he stumbled around his room Rikku couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. She plunged her fork into the meal before her as Matt trudged on with his train wreck. She ate the food before her bite by bite. When he asked her if she was a native she nearly choked on her food,"Uh, oh nooo. I am definitely not from here. Pretty sure I am like you. Hmm," she forked her food once more, "There's tons more like us. I deal with them sometimes. Help them. It's all I can really do, she chewed her food, swallowing it, "You know?" She didn't mention the fact that here lately she'd been used more for harm than help.
She still wasn't sure why PSICOM and the Academy hated each other. It reminded her greatly of the factions back on Spira; New Yevon and the Youth league. The Machine Faction fit in there somewhere, more closely related to the Youth League. Her cheeks burned a little as she lingered on a particular guy who happened to lead the Machine Faction. Gippal. Another bite was thrown into her mouth. Before talking again she gulped it down and took a large drink of the liquid before her, "I am from a place called Spira. Not sure if it's still out there somewhere and that bugs me. I help other people even to keep from losing myself in gloomy days. I can't handle losing my home... not again," she eyed the drink suspiciously. Had she mistakenly ordered liquor? She ordered a special. The liquid in her cup was definitely more than something to wet her throat. It burned all the way down. Now she was babbling about. Uh.. Oopsie. shrugging she took another gulp of whatever she was drinking. Setting her sloshing cup down hard on the table Rikku coughed a little from the strength of the drink, "Where are you from?" © to DANI

he said turning his head to the side feeling his cheeks turn a soft red like hers did. He wasn't good for conversation, but it was helping him out in the end to talk to her.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/ul]
