The year is 1813, and the Prince Regent has only just began to make his mark as a ruler. The elite of the English aristocracy - the haute ton - are flooding the city, preparing to enter the marriage mart and enjoy the grand life of excess the Regency-era is quite known for. But there's a darker side of the Regency era - England is at war with both the Americas and the French, and troops are dying everyday. Animosity is rising against the Prince Regent and the Crown for their luxurious and care-free lifestyle while the working class are struggling to survive and sending their sons to die.

But what do the haute ton care about all that? They're concentrating on the more amiable aspects of life, whiling their hours away at parties, social events, and attempts to ascend the ranks of the rich. As friends and enemies reunite for another season of mystery, intrigue, and, of course, deceit, join us as we rewrite history, forge useful family connections, and prove to the world that no other court is better than that of the English.

Features:

[/b]. Characters who do things out of what would have been socially accepted receive in-game consequences, such as having a rumor or article written about them without the member/player's consent.
Class Upgrades. All members have the ability to rise up through the ranks of Regency England.
Titles & Honors. Titles and honors may he purchased and improved through the use of the forum store.
Reputation. We offer an optional reputation system that allows members to track their social and public deeds, whether good or bad.
Connections. Through our optional genealogy system, you can link your own original characters to those already established on the board through familial ties.
Site Canons. Pre-made characters are available and may come with a reputation, class, and/or titles or honors that would otherwise be restricted for new members.
Awards. Members may earn awards through fulfilling posting requirements, both in-character and out-of-character.
Store. The forum's store allows members to purchase items that characters would normally be restricted having, as well as account effects, reputation changes, class upgrades, additional titles, new honors, and sudden money.
Lottery. If you're a gambling type, members are welcome to join in the lottery to win free money!
Arcade. Many of us love playing a few games while waiting on a post; our arcade is very basic, but fun.
Friendly Atmosphere. Our members are, quite frankly, awesome. Everyone's friendly, helpful, and active!
