She doesn't know wrong from right She doesn't know when to fight Another Sunny Day C'mon get out These days it was easy pickings around here. Sure, there was the threat of fiends and the atmosphere itself but Rikku had the most fun scouting new areas and yanking through what other people might consider trash. Rikku was Al'Bhed. Her people spent years digging through century old crap and piecing it back together again, and that's what she did on Pulse as well, when she could spare some time from the Academy.
It was a rough start. Rikku was still pretty confused. How did she end up on this entire new world and, what happened to Spira? She tried not to linger on it much. The anguish she felt when Home was destroyed was enough to keep her mind dwelling on the details. For now, she was determined to be as helpful as possible. She would do what she could and maybe one day she could go back to Spira.
After sneaky sneaking her way past a few PSICOM troops like a true thief, a rock evaded Rikku's eyes. She had just broke out into a run when her right foot caught the stone and her body went flying into the sand. Seeing as she was scantly clad in her normal attire the sand gritted her body, leaving a few fresh, stinging scrapes.
"Owie!" She called out without thinking. Rikku flinched at the sound of her own voice, peeking around before scrambling herself back onto two legs. Maybe I should make a dash for it... Still a ways away stood a large heap of PSICOM's trash. More importantly it was probably salvageable. Rikku thought it was obvious that PSICOM were extreme consumers and rarely took the time to thoroughly checking something before tossing it out as garbage. Most was pretty messed up but Rikku enjoyed taking the 'garbage' sticking them together to make a new thingy.
It seemed as though no one had heard her, or at least no one had made it to her yet. She had a large make-shift bag dangling from her shoulder. Rikku had made it out of some rough cloth she had found the other day. It appeared to have been the remnants of some sort of flag. Wiggling her gloved hands Rikku began pulling through the parts. A few times she'd find something interesting and place it into the sling-like bag she carried. She had gotten so caught up in the task at hand she lost focus on her environment. Anyone could of walked in on her and she probably wouldn't even notice until it was too late!
Rikku began to hum without thinking. There were screws and thingy-majiggs and who's its and what's its, Rikku was creating things in her mind as she tore through the gizmos. She wouldn't get much sleep that night, not with all the enhancements she was going to make on... everything! © to DANI

Angeal was confused how he ended up in this situation. He was stuck in in this stranger new world for one, he lost sight of his companion, and he was on sort of base. This wasn't good in Angeal's opinion, he has seen a little of what this organization did. It was so similar to what he was forced to do back in the war, and Angeal wanted no part in that. And now? He needed to get to a safe place so he can fly outta the base.
It was harder to hide with a wing on your back, but either the men in uniform are that out of sorts from their environment or he was that god at hiding. He hoped that he was close to the end of this place, that way he can fly off and look for his companion. This was just one mess after the other. "Can things get any worse?"
As if the Goddess or just plain Karma that a PSICOM lackey spotted him or rather his wing. Angeal cursed his wing and began to make a run for it. He needed to hide somewhere but where could he hide with such a large appendage? He took a quick left turn and continued running, at least his SOLDIER strength and stamina were still with him. He could at least outrun a few masked soldiers.
He looked ahead and saw a large heap of metalic trash and saw that it would be large enough to cover him. He jumped slightly and began to fly just off the ground. As he was gaining momentum he saw a young girl picking up scrap from the trash heap. Angeal didn't think as he picked her up and hid inside the trash heap. He placed his gloved hand around her mouth. "Please keep quiet." Angeal muttered, "They might find us."
As if on cue the sounds of several PSICOM soldiers filled the area. Some where muttering about and angel infiltrating the base. Others were calling them insane because angels didn't exist. Angeal let his wing cradle them to keep them hidden and give as much room as he could. This really wasn't his day.

He was getting awfully sick of these babysitting jobs. With a hand to his forehead, Prompto stared at the water that was going off in the distance, before glancing back at the camp that PSICOM had set up here. Obviously they were working on getting bases closer and closer to Academia for their little shindig that was supposed to be happening here pretty quickly. Well…he wasn’t sure ‘shindig’ was a great way to put it, but yeah, they were going to be diving into Academia while that Estheim guy was giving his little speech, and then blowing the joint. Prompto himself thought it was as stupid of a move as one could imagine, but that was apparently just him. Well…Noct too, and Glady. Basically their group thought it was the stupidest idea that you could come up with. Unfortunately, Prompto swore that the commander hated their group…or felt threatened by them. Most likely it was the second one, because Prompto would have no idea aside from that why they would give them all the stupid jobs…like this.
What was he even supposed to be doing here anyway?
For all he knew, all he had to do was look good. Not that looking good was a problem for him, since he always looked damned good, but that wasn’t the point. The point was that he really liked to actually be active in doing stuff, and so far it didn’t seem like that was anything that was going to be happening here while he was stationed at this base camp. They’d told him that he was here for training some new recruits, him and a few other guys. Along with that, they were supposed to be studying up for a sex ed 101 class. Prompto would be a good teacher on that subject, but so far he hadn’t seen any of these new recruits that he was supposed to be training.
Were they just hiding or something? Rolling his head back, Prompto gave a weary sigh and finally plunked his butt down on the sand that stretched out to make a beach around him. Hell, he sure would find other things to do in a place like this if there was no work to be done. Goodie, a vacation! He needed a vacation, especially with all the shit that they’d been putting up with. That damned PSICOM leader sure knew how to be stupid. That was for sure. With a groan, Prompto settled his shotgun in the sand behind him and settled his head back to rest for a bit. Hell of a day.
{NOTES} I...didn't quite know what to do with them where they were, so he's just gonna wander around a bit |

She doesn't know wrong from right She doesn't know when to fight Another Sunny Day C'mon get out There she was minding her own business when suddenly, WABAM! Some.. thing? had grabbed her mid hunt and thrust her around it's body something like a rag doll. Stunned at first, Rikku tensed up which caused her mouth functions to cease for the moment. It was probably a man. At least he sounded like a man. When Rikku felt his hand come over her mouth she began to mumble beneath his gloved fingers, wiggling her small figure around in alarm trying to free herself. His grip was like stone and before long Rikku gave up. About the time that Rikku stopped squirming some sort of soft blanket like thing came up around them. Staring, as at the moment it was all she could do, Rikku noted that whatever it was it was attached to him. Some sort of... wing? Her brow furrowed as alarm and anger rose within her once more. Who did this guy think he was? If he hadn't came over here she wouldn't even be in this mess! What the heck?!
She twisted as much as she could, brought her hands up to his arms which were around her and bore into them with her fingernails. Couldn't he at least move his hand from over her mouth? It was obvious now that he was trying to protect her from the PSICOM troops... that or he mistook her for PSICOM and was holding her hostage. She sighed deeply. Rikku brought her left leg up quickly. She thrust it backwards in a kick aimed at her kidnapper as hard as her might would allow it. That had allowed her a bit more wiggle room. Once she slipped from his grip she rolled out of his.. wing and into the sand, literally rolling away.
Once the unwanted acrobats had ceased, Rikku found herself blinking up at the sun with very hot sand underneath her bare back. She rose her hand to block the sun's rays and all around her she heard metal objects cling and clang. She was completely surrounded by PSICOM. They were yelling at her to stay down and to not move. Seeing as if she moved to look at the numbers she would more than likely get shot Rikku assumed there were too many of them to fight off and obliged. She dramatically threw her arms and legs out onto the sand and kept her pointed eyes up at the sky. Great.
She resorted to the only thing she felt like she could and played the fool. One of the troops came over and roughly yanked her up to her feet. She tried putting on a blank confused stare as a few more troops broke form, one of the put cuffs around her wrists and the other grabbed the cuffs and started yanking again. She groaned as the metal things dug into her skin and momentarily felt bad for scratching the winged dude.
Now then, the other guards were.. dispersing? Didn't they see the giant mound of feathers by the trash pile? But this gave Rikku an idea. She could get away from the few guards around her easily enough. She'd have to make it quick or those other guys would come back firing away. Quickly, Rikku kicked the guy leading her by the cuffs, knocking his feet from underneath him. The other baffoon turned around abruptly. Rikku knelt down, feeling the sand for the key that had been dropped by the now floored troop. Drat. Of course he'd drop it in the sand! her hands searched fervently for the metal object but it was too late. The PSICOM troop had already strode over to her. Losing no time he rose his booted foot up and kicked her in the head hard, sending Rikku yelping into the sand face first. Moments after Rikku blacked out. © to DANI

Angeal had decided that he was going to make a new life resolutions. One of those resolutions would be to think before he grabbed. That was how he found himself in the situation he was currently in. He didnt think things through and took a young girl into his arms to hide in. Now the girl is probably going to think he was a creep or something. He could feel her wiggling, trying to get out of his grip most likely. All he had to do is keep them here hidden, and once they left he would let her go and apoligze, it was not honorable to do what he did.
What he did not expect was her long nail digging into his skin. It wasn't much of the action but it was so unexpected that he felt the pain from it. He held it in as long as he could. He was so close to be in the clear, she just needed to hold on a little more, just a little more. He also didn't expect the kick aimed at his stomach, which made him wonder how flexible was she to have been able to aim a kick at him from this little amount of space. His grip on her was gone and he felt her roll out into the sand. Before he could reach her the mountain of trash startd to collaspe on him. He used his wing to make a shield that would at least give him more room. He needed to get out of here.
Using her SOLDIER strength he pushed away the trash that fell on him. He looked around but saw that most of the guards, if not all of them were heading back to their base. He wasn't even sure if the guards noticed the noise that he caused when he pushed away the metalic trash away. He was in thought now, that girl got captured and it was his fault. He was the tone who brought those soldiers to her and he made the mistake of dagging that girl into this mess. What could he do? It was not like he could take an entire base, at least not without magic. And right not that was not a reasonable option.
"This is bad, that girl didn't deserve to be captured. I need to do something. but what?" Angeal muttered to himself. It seems that he was doing that alot as of late. But that didn't change the fact that he needed to do something, but right now he was out of ideas. He kept an ear out just in case that those soldiers came back. If they start a fight then he will just fight back, that's all there is too it.
