TAGGED: RikkuWORDS --STATUS Finished Yuna's feet brushed the sandy shore once more. She had stepped out of her regular foot attire, and went barefoot along the beach. Her half lidded eyes gazed at the setting sun. All of them.. She would be going back there, to see, the Academy leader. She still only knew so little. She still didn't know where the threat was coming from. But she would have to find out eventually. She closed her eyes and she bit her lip. They can't have all been killed.. right? She didn't know the secret, the secret to landing in Gran Pulse as the man with the machina shop had said. The only thing that was coursing through her head, was the loud sounds of death she was imagining.
She had to stop this. She didn't know how to grieve over losing her land, her people. If they all had made it safely here, that was one thing. But to lose everybody, and know that she may never see her loved ones again.. It was an unbearable thing to try and deal with. The feelings were overwhelming, and she didn't know how to turn it off. She had lived for the people for so long... She had to choke back a sob that was rising up in her throat. Your just going to have to suck it up. She told herself. These people could be in jeopardy too. Not including a bunch of other worlds. Could this chaos be stopped? Or would it end in a finality that she couldn't bear to see coming.
Her fingers tightened into her skirt. She spun around angrily, and stomped up the beach, slipping her shoes on in mid stride. She had to figure more things out. She'd have to go back to the Academy. She had to somehow do something! What if her world wasn't destroyed... Maybe she could find him. She didn't even like to think about it. The word. His name. The thought that he could be ripped away from her was like someone stealing her oxygen. So for now, she was okay with being in denial. At least something didn't push her overboard. She brushed quickly into the inn sitting up the slope from the beach. She put some money down on the table, and paid for a room. She'd have to leave in the morning. A few other customers were milling around. The door swung open and closed a few times. She had a long journey, but she wasn't afraid of those. She had her share of those in her past as well.
"Thanks." She said bowing her head lightly to the shop keeper. She heard the door open and close again. She turned around, and thought for a moment her eyes were just playing tricks on her.

She doesn't know wrong from right She doesn't know when to fight Another Sunny Day C'mon get out Bodhum was bustling and large. Er, new Bodhum. Rikku never knew the original Bodhum. During it's reign she did not even know that Pulse even existed. It was Spira and only Spira. Here lately she found herself wondering a lot about that. What happened to Spira anyways? Was it out there somewhere? It made her head hurt and her heart ache to think about so Rikku did her best to avoid the issue. Smells drifted through the winds of Bodhum, the main one being food. Although Rikku was hungry she did not want that. Her mind craved the food of her own people and her tongue craved to speak Al'Bhed. Not one. Rikku had not seen any other Al'Bhed during all her stay on Pulse. She hadn't seen anyone from Spira. One day she thought she had seen a Ronso but it was while she was passing by on what she called a Hover-Bike. She tossed the idea that she would purchase some food but figured there'd be some grub at the Inn she was trying to find.
"Aha!" Rikku excitedly pointed to the building she was searching for. It was only a few yards away. New Bodhum was like a mix of Kilika and Besaid to Rikku. It was definitely one of her favorite places. Time off from the Academy was rare for her. She intended on relaxing on the beach and mess with the locals. Maybe she'd run into someone from Spira. Her feet clambered through the sand as she ran towards her location, passing beach goers and interrupting volley ball games. Maybe. Running up the correct flight of stairs Rikku found herself eyeing to door with the Inn. Flinging it open unceremoniously Rikku entered the building. As she entered the small structure she pulled away her orange-yellow scarf and smiled widely, "And hiyaaa!" She wasn't really talking to anyone. She just thought it would be fun to let her presence be known. But instead of leaving others awestruck as she intended she was the one picking her jaw off the floor.
"Wha-" No way. It's "YUNIIIIIIIE!!!!!!!!" The over-grown woman/child flung herself through the store paying no heed to the after effects of her scrambling. It was YUNA!!! She grabbed Yuna's shoulders and held her cousin out in front of her, making certain that it was Yuna and if so that she was perfectly okay. When her preliminary exam was completed Rikku wrapped her arms around Yuna and squeezed her tightly to her body. "Geez Yunie. I can't believe it. I--" a tear rolled down Rikku's face to her surprise. She pulled back and wiped it away quickly. © to DANI

TAGGED: RikkuWORDS 547STATUS Finished This was a joke. It was all a joke. She couldn't be here. She would be on Spira still. But why did she look just like her.. Then it happened, she squealed her name and a flurry of emotions ran through Yuna. Hope, despair, love, pain! All at the same time. "Rikku.." She breathed softly. She couldn't believe it. When the girl dove for her, Yuna instinctively reached out to grab her. She looked up into Rikku's emerald eyes and she shook her head, the whisps of brown hair flew back and forth as she did so. "How are you here..." She whispered, melted by now. She couldn't believe it. "E seccat oui cu! (I missed you so!)" She exclaimed in Al Bhed. Yuna of course, was also Al Bhed. She hadn't uttered a word of it in a long time, but it was still stored in her memories. Fondly.
Yuna's tender touch brushed against Rikku's cheek. "How the hell did you get here!!??" She had hope for once, that maybe just maybe, more from Spira would come upon this place. It was a relieving revelation. Maybe he would make it.. Or maybe he disappeared like he had once before. She didn't think about that. Not now. Not when she just found one of the people that she loved. Her and Rikku had gone their separate ways in the past, sure. She stayed in Besaid, and Rikku went off on her own. "Did your brother make it too?" She bit her lip lightly, she didn't really want to hear the answer to that. Or to think about her uncle either. She closed her eyes gently, and pulled Rikku into a tight embrace. "Regardless, I am so glad you are safe... I heard some... terrible things." She whispered. "I didn't think I'd see anyone else from Spira again."
When Rikku pulled back slowly, Yuna put a small smile upon her lips. "Have you heard the news... Of what's causing this?" Yuna leaned her elbows on the Inn's counter top. The man cleared his throat, but she ignored it. She had been on her way trying to find all the information that she could. And she also planned on getting more. "How long have you been here, Rikku?" She had no idea when all of this had started. When Chaos was trying to eat up the worlds. She was still sure that somehow she'd be able to help stop it. But for now, she had no idea what to do from here. She had to get to the Academy again. But she had no idea how long it would take to get to see Hope. She knew he was the head, and didn't that usually mean... appointments were out for a few months ahead of time? She didn't have that kind of time to waste. She'd have to contact Hope in another way. Yuna's brain fired everything she was thinking about, and still managed to be connected to Rikku. Her heterochramatic eyes were slightly glistening from the unshed tears she had not let loose. "I'm so relieved, you have no idea.." She murmured.

She doesn't know wrong from right She doesn't know when to fight Another Sunny Day C'mon get out Never mind the language that Rikku would have never expected to fly from Yuna's lips, Rikku was in complete awe of her cousin being here. Right here, in front of her in the living flesh. What was even more surprising was Yuna's use of Al'Bhed. It sounded so native, Rikku could barely believe that a few years ago Yuna could barely speak it. Hearing her own language made Rikku's heart swell with even more emotion. It was unlike her to shed tears. She never accepted a goodbye from anyone. Never did she allow herself to believe that Yuna was gone without even the slightest farewell. Or... did she? The shock of having her in front of her opened the flood gates. One tear after the other fell down her face until she had to step back in order to wipe them away with her cuffs, "E lysa rana mega oui E drehg. E zicd ahtat ib rana. E lyh'd aqbmyeh ed yhosuna dryh zicd.. E druikrd ajanouha fyc kuha, Yunie!" (I came here like you I think. I just ended up here. I can't explain it anymore than just.. I thought everyone was gone, Yunie!) Rikku hiccuped, wiping her face harder now, clearly annoyed with the water works. She wasn't even thinking about her words. It felt so nice to speak in Al'Bhed.
Once she was certain the water had stopped she fell onto Yuna again, giving her one more squeeze before backing off for the moment. She's really here! I can't believe it. Wait. Yes I can! I knew I'd see her again.. Right? her mind was on everyone else now. What about them? Would Yuna be the only other friend she'd be reunited with? Was that even fathomable? When Yuna mentioned Brother Rikku shrugged, "I am sure he's somewhere. Poor guy. He can barely speak English. Hope he's getting by alright. I haven't seen any other Al'Bhed speaking person since I got here," she crossed her arms before taking her left hand and flicking it violently, "I thought I'd forget how to speak it!"
More hugging. This time Yuna was the one who acted but Rikku accepted it happily. It was so relieving to see someone as familiar to her as Yunie. Yuna said something about what might be causing this. That was cool and all but Rikku was more interested in hearing about how she'd been. There was a lot Rikku should probably know. But once she got settled in at the Academy her main goal was to help other wanderers like herself. Sure, the idea of it was mentioned. It was even mandated that she understand but Rikku... had better things to do.
"E'ja paah rana vun y ped. Paah... rambehk dra Academy, zicd cdivv," (I've been here for a bit. Been... helping the Academy, just stuff.) Rikku stated, half-smiling, "Oh, Yunie! You have no idea how happy I am now. Guess it's good I took a couple off days!" Rikku was switching between languages so much she was sure to turn a few heads in the Inn. The guy behind the counter was eyeing her like she developed a second head or something. "Ehehe..." © to DANI

TAGGED: Rikkucolor=996666]WORDS [/color]600 -- STATUS Finished[/div] When she saw the tears being shed from her cousin. She couldn't help but tighten her grasp on her, and shed some of her own. They were like two... little girls crying over some tragic thing happening. But they were happy tears. They had found eachother again. The only link to her mother. Her smile lit up her features through the tears that were streaming down her face. "Rikku.. E teth'd drehg yhouha syta ed. E ys cu nameajat du caa oui ymeja yht famm, luiceh!" (Rikku.. I didn't think anyone made it. I am so relieved to see you alive and well, cousin!) The look on her face expressed it all. The relief for her cousins well being. At least someone made it through here alive. She wondered who else could have possible made it through. Please... She said whispering to the almighty.
She did sigh with relief with news of Brother. "So he's safely here? You've seen him." Yuna had a hand on her breast, right over her heart. She was so relieved. Another member of her family was safe. She only wished.. No she had to stop thinking of the negative. If anyone else showed up, she would most definitely track them all down. A smile curled upon her lips, looking up into her cousins very vibrant eyes.
Yuna's eyes turned wary. "And the Academy, do they treat you well... They aren't some evil faction trying to secretly destroy all the worlds... right Rikku? You know how skeptical I can be sometimes. But I just want to make sure you are safe,, and are not being brought up like a lamb to a slaughter." She clenched her teeth slowly thinking about that. "E funno ypuid ouin famm paehk." (I worry about your well being.) Tidus had truly helped Yuna get over the fears of any kinds of battles. He was always her strength when she needed it. And to get him taken away... was a heart breaking experience. She just wanted to keep thinking he was safe.
Yuna barked at the bartender. "Do you have a problem with how we are talking. Get lost." She snapped at the man. She didn't do it often, but rudeness she could harldly tolerate. In the three years before this, she had grown a pair. Auron's influence. It always was his influence. He was a horrible role model for her, but she loved him to pieces. She hoped to everything he would make it through this... She had seen other unsents here. Why not Auron as well. She had a grim smile set on her face. "I have to get to the bottom of all of this Rikku. What does the Academy really tell people. I have heard a bunch of diffferent things.. I am not sure which one is which. Who is right." She said with a frustrated sigh. Perhaps her cousin had some answers for her too before she went insane.

She doesn't know wrong from right She doesn't know when to fight Another Sunny Day C'mon get out Rikku screwed up her mouth when Yuna snapped at the bartender. Sure, Yuna had changed from the summoner blindly bringing herself to her own death but this Yuna? Rikku never thought she'd see a day when Yuna would say something rash and almost rude. Not that the guy wasn't asking for it, he still glanced over them now, sizing Rikku up with his eyes before huffing and turning away. Ignoring him, Rikku thought about the previous reply she had wanted to make before Yuna had distracted her. "Actually I haven't seen Brother since I arrived. I am sure he's here somewhere. We're here so they gotta be here too. 'Least that's the way I am lookin at it," Rikku finished her answer by yanking her left hand up and pointed her thumb toward her chest while the rest of her hand was clenched in a fist.
A few more people entered the open shop as the girls reunited with one another as if there was no one else around. Stretching, Rikku pulled her hands up and over her head. She placed them behind her head and glanced sideways, "The Academy... they've been pretty nice though they sure are bossy," Rikku tried not to look at Yuna. She dropped her eyes to the dusty floor and shuffled her feet awkwardly. Rikku felt like a child under her mother's scrutiny. As much as she tried to hide her annoyed unhappiness about the Academy she couldn't. They told her she would be helping people, not beating up on PSICOM idiots. She was pretty sure she'd harmed more people than helped them at this point.
The bartender mumbled something inaudible before speaking out loudly at the two girls, "You two gonna order something or what? You're taking up my counter space with your strange talk," he twisted his rough face up into a half smile. What was his problem? Rikku glared almost playfully at the man, saying, "You're rude, you know that?! What's your problem anyways?" She never dropped her hands from her hands, instead she nonchalantly moved her head towards Yuna once more, ignoring the growing annoyance on the barkeep's face. © to DANI

Yuna's brows furrowed slightly. The look on Rikku's face slightly scared Yuna. She gave her a look like she was completely unrecognizable to her. A lot had changed in the last few years apart.. She had just finally realized. She had become more hostile, more touchy about some things that she wouldn't have at an earlier date. But that didn't mean she wasn't thrilled completely completely that Rikku was there. "I am so happy your safe, Rikku. And I hope the others are safe too." She said with a quiet smile.
She didn't want to speak out of turn. "But to be honest, I know this guy. He's a jerk, so I just give him a dose of his own medicine." She murmured so only Rikku could hear. And then her point was proven. "See! I told you!" She said pointing to the man, with big eyes. At least she knew she wasnt going all the way crazy yet! "Making fun of other people's languages now. That must be a real low for you." She said with a blank mono tone type stare. "Just get me some water please." The bartenders face screwed up tighter, and stared at the back of Rikku's head.
"I don't know about these factions. I've heard about some things and it seems they all want something personal out of it. I understand what Psicom wants for the most part. But the Academy. Their organization can't only to stop the Psicom people. They have to know more about what they are letting on. I just have no clue what it is. But I do intend to find out. What about you. What is your agenda since you came to the place?" She cocked her head to the side, and curiously asked her the question. She just wanted to make sure Rikku had been doing well, and not been hurt by anyone. Friend or for. That never mattered when it came to family after all.
