Other than that Ignis couldn't find anyone; Prompto, Gladiolus or Noctis. There wasn't much trace of where he'd come from, other than the blank stares he kept casting over the barren landscape. It was as if he'd gotten spewed out into some sort of dream but nothing could wake him. He felt unaware of most of his surroundings. Surreal. Almost like his body had accepted what happened but his mind was still back home. What..? Where am I? No answers came to him, not that he thought they would. He told Noctis that they would get their revenge one way or another, how? Ignis hadn't the slightest clue where he could be, much less where to exact their revenge. His left hand tensed up into a fist as he slammed it into the fallen log underneath him, "Dammit!" He grunted. The wood splintered into his fist as pain shot up into his arm. It was dark out where ever he was. Maybe he should lay down and try to sleep. He wasn't really sure about that idea. He could hear things out in the distance. Some growled while some moaned. Deciding that sleep was not a good idea, Ignis rose to his feet. It was cold. Good thing he had a coat on, a thick leather one. It helped keep the wind from seeping into his clothing. He picked a direction and started walking, maybe he'd find something soon. Something civilized. After walking an unrecorded amount of hours something gleamed in the distance. Perhaps a small town? Ignis mulled this through for a moment. Where are the roads leading to the town? Maybe there wasn't any. Maybe he got thrust back in time. None-the-less he journeyed onward. He couldn't give up yet. He had to get back to where he was from. There was still so much to be done. It was nearly morning when his body gave out and his throat felt like paper. He keeled over into the dirt even though he was near the entrance to the strange fixture he had seen the night before. Little did he know it was one of the many divisions of PSICOM. When he woke up he was told where he was and that there were many like him. He was interrogated, sort of. He complied with the promise of a cross exchange of information. He was intent on gaining what ever Intel he could; maybe he could find Noct soon. If what they said was true then there was a chance that Noctis got thrown into this mess as well. The officer that recruited him, Kalek, told him that Psicom was the way to go if he wanted to get back home. Of course, Ignis wanted nothing more but to get back home and bring truth to the promise he made to Noctis. | My fears have never seemed so inconsequential. The clouds have left my sky and given way to a will. |
