Tifa knew that if she wanted to get familiar with this world, then she better start getting familiar with their beasts. It was hard explaining to the children she was looking over that she needed to leave for a day or two; as much as it broke her heart to leave them she knew that this had to be done. It also dawned on her that children could be lost in the wilderness alone which only proved to increase her determination to go to the wilderness.
The place was breathtaking, with how their own world was submerged in technology seeing such vast lands of greenery without having to leave the continent was soothing in a way, but Tifa was warned not to let her guard down, at first many volunteered to accompany her to Archylte Steppe, but Tifa didn't see it as necessary; she was more than capable of defending herself... and after a good fist fight with one of the volunteers they seemed content with her abilities, but begged her not to stray to far in.
Tifa was not reckless, it was more like her deceased friend Aerith who would charge head first into a battle; especially if it meant saving an innocent soul. The thoughts brought a saddened smile to her face and her hand instinctively went to the red ribbon tied around her upper arm. She knew that her friend... wherever she was; was always going to be looking over them.
It was in that moment was Tifa swept to the side by immense force. She went flying to the side, but landed gracefully on her knees scraping them a bit. Standing up she dusted her knees and looked into the beasts eyes (a gorgonopsid). Tifa smiled and delivered quick blows to the beast completely incapacitating it. If that was all, perhaps she should delve deeper into the wilderness.
At first she would only be confronted in groups of one or even two, but what she didn't notice was the sun slowly disappearing in a thicket of trees as she went deeper and deeper. At one point she thought she could sense someone else perhaps they were following her... or it could one of the less sinister animals curious by her presence. Whatever it was, she made sure to keep her focus on it and her surroundings. When she came to a clearing she made a circle around it. There was something... unsettling about this place and her suspicions were confirmed when from the trees around her she was slowly surrounded by a group of gorgonopsids. She cursed under her breath she wasn't sure if she could handle it, but it couldn't possibly get worse than that.
In that moment she heard it, it started off as a slow rumble, but soon enough it the stomps of something much bigger grew closer and closer till she could feel the vibrations in the ground.
The large beast (an adamantoise) appeared it towered over her and Tifa was faintly reminded of the time she had to protect Denzel from Bahamut, but this was different, now she didn`t have to worry about him or about protecting anyone. This would be a perfect time to test her strength... Tifa knew she was outnumbered, but that wasn`t her concern, what she wasn`t sure of was how strong this beast would prove to be.
She starting working her way towards it, every few blows would take out a smaller beast, but they continued to come at her in groups and after a while the large one charged at her, knocking aside some of the smaller beasts in its way, but the animalistic fury was evident in its eyes and Tifa had barely made it out of the way her left shoulder was grazed by on of its large tusks.
As she stood panting at the side she realized that she needed a part of people to take them down... but she was in the middle of the wilderness with no sign of human life for miles... she was screwed.

TAGGED: Tifa, ect.WORDS 533MUSIC Change In The House of Flies A shot rang out and echoed through the large area. Archylte Steppe they said was mighty dangerous. Monsters, thief's, and many more things than that they said. She had to get her mind out of all of the spinning that was happening with her sudden flood of information. Some good knock out drag down fighting might help her. Yuna started walking through the path, the large monster that was in her way, suddenly crashed to the ground with a bullet wound smoking from the exit in its monstrous skull. She sighed lightly, and continued on. She could hear some kind of commotion coming from the direction to her right. She could see the edge, monsters were grouped together. That was odd behavior. What are they doing? Slipping quietly closer, all she could hear was the thrumming of her own heart.
There was a female body, clad in dark colors. She could see it. The monsters were starting to group upon her. Yuna made her entrance, quickly slipping from the lush forestry. Her pistols were out, and fired repeatedly. The loud shots made the monsters quickly spin, and start to come towards her. "Yeah, come on you ugly things.." She concentrated on the smaller monsters. Holes pierced through their hides, and they couldn't fight it. The charge of magic exploded under their skin, ripping apart their insides. As Yuna walked to the girl, a light shimmered around her. Her guns melded into something new. Her clothing was being ripped off and falling to the ground, making way for a sharp white robe to fall down to her ankles. She shook her hair lightly, the hood of the outfit hanging loosely around her neck. The smaller monsters were gone. Just the big one left.
Kneeling down towards the dark haired woman, she casted a healing annuity on her body. The sharp cut on her shoulder was being knitted by the magic. She spun around quickly, standing up before the Adamantoise could charge again. She thrust a large force of magic from her body, her staff, her being. White orbs floated around the monster, its beady eyes eyeing it with animalistic curiosity. The large shafts of light hung wistfully above its head, and suddenly it all submerged into one, into one large Holy attack. "We need to get out of here. This one is going to take forever to die." True enough, the smoke faded, the monster looked dazed, hurt, but alive. It now looked pissed. Yuna grimaced. Its hide was thick, she'd fought monsters like this before. Usually you needed a strong penetrable weapon that would slide through it like butter. Too bad Auron wasn't around.... The pang in her heart she pushed aside quickly.
"Fight or flight?" She asked the woman quickly. She figured she was out here for some reason. Yuna could always use more training, but this creature looked big and monstrous. It didn't even care about the other bodies on the ground, crushing them as its large body moved towards them. Her eyes flickered between the beast and the woman. She just wanted to know what she wanted to do. A grim line set on her features, her lips pressed together. Whichever option she chose, they had to choose quick.

Tifa was not going to give up, if there was no Cloud who would protect the children. Her memories drifted back to the time she had lost Marlene to Loz. If she couldn't defeat these beasts then how could she defend those she loved?
Tifa knew sometimes help was necessary and this was one of those cases, but with no human life for miles Tifa was a sitting duck and she knew when it was time to run away.
Tifa was about to make a run for it, but the sound of gunshot rand through the forest directing the attention of the beasts to the source. Tifa took that as an opportunity to take out two more beasts before a girl appeared. At first Tifa was shocked there was someone else in the forest, but it dawned on her that there were other people much like herself who were probably training as well. Perhaps, there would be other, but how could she know if the person was a friend or a foe?
Tifa wondered if perhaps this girl could potentially be an enemy, but the way she looked so innocent and pure she didn't seem like an enemy. Tifa gave the girl a grateful smile as her shoulder stitched up, but something Tifa did realize was this womans lack of materia. Tifa looked down at her own gloves the faint glow from her materia reflected in her eyes. It was unfortunate Tifa had no healing materia and cursed the fact that they were sucked into this foreign world
As Tifa looked at the girl she noticed that this girl was not dressed like the people of this world and assumed she was much like herself; from somewhere else. What startled her further was the drastic change of clothes. With so much to process it took Tifa a while to answer the girl, but with a nod she stood up and brushed stray strands from her hair.
"You seem capable of handling yourself, how about we show these beasts how us ladies handle it?"
Tifa was all for taking a rest, but she felt like perhaps they could handle the beast. With the rest of the small ones completely incapacitated they could focus on the large one.
"They may be big, but they're never usually bright."
Tifa looked over at the girl and with a quick nod showing she was ready, Tifa jumped up on the nearest tree, using it as leverage and with another leap brought the heel of her leg down hard on the beasts head. She pushed off back and landed on the ground, the beasts was only momentarily dazed and if it was angry before, it was furious now.
It lifted it's leg, was it about to stomp? Tifa turned towards this girl giving her a warning glance.
"We might need to get to high ground."
Tifa was going to time her jump, as soon as the beast would brings its foot down she would jump into the sanctuary of the surrounding trees. She crouched down low ready to spring; her eyes evident with pure determination as her raised fists were curled into tight balls. This girl had her guns, but all Tifa needed were her fists and the damage she could do was devastating.
