NO MORE DREAMING LIKE A GIRL SO IN LOVE WITH THE WRONG WORLD. When the statues started to move forward, she noticed that there were much more than two.. The only thing that spurned Yuna on, was the constant vibrations inside of her. It was a special thing, feeling the sensation and urge to do battle. Something she had done over and over again during her pilgrimages. Could a few statues really stop them? He seemed to be more wary than she. "One thing. I am not only long range." Yuna jumped back through the air with a might spring of her feet, casting a round straight up into the air, and those magical bullets changed course rapidly, heading straight for home. The center of the statues themselves. She was now on higher ground. It would work for her vantage point. Then she got a load of how they moved, one came up and tried to move in close quarters combat, she stopped it there. The bullets weren't doing enough damage. Not with the plaster and hard surface, she'd have to change her approach. But she used a swift kick to knock the statue over to give herself adequate time. A fire bloomed from between her hands, and her weapon changed forms, back into her staff.
"I will share my pain with you." Was her ghost of a whisper. "Feel my pain! Come Anima!" She shouted, and the whole ground rumbled, which was really quite alarming while they were so high up. She wondered if Anima was bursting through each layer. The giant chains slammed into the ground, and the statue was finally to its feet, and more were coming her way. Anima was drug from the depths of another dimension. The statues themselves did not know how to fear, but fearsome, that was what Anima was. Before Yuna had to fight with the statue again, it broke apart from the inside out, bursting out it's shattered remains. She looked up at the flash in Anima's eye's. The other statues, obviously did not understand. But one by one each met it's demise. She then realized, what was Angeal going to think with her controlling such an Aeon. Anima was quite horriifying looking on the outside, and on the inside, she was Seymour's mother.
She spun around while the statues were being decimated, she knew Angeal could deal with his on his own. But just in case she ran up towards him, just to make sure his buff's didn't wear off. She didn't know his mental state. She didn't want him to sacrifice himself just becauuse he fancied himself better off a dead man. But that would crush her. She couldn't allow this man to be harmed. "Angeal! Behind you!" She shouted quickly, it looked like the statue was flying at someone, trying to behead them. She cringed at the thought. She knew the statue's normally meant a prelude. "I think these are nothing compared to what could be inside, Angeal. I'm keeping my Aeon out." She would be at a disadvantage though, being a summoner, meant she could only rely on her staff, but at least she had some strenth on her from training so much. Sometimes that staff would knock your brain for a loop. But who knew if what was behind the door... or further in.. had a brain like that.
One of the statues split from Angeals party, and went flying for Yuna. Of course she was caught unawares when a solid cement punch landed on her jaw, she held it with a hiss. But just as the soldier regrouped, Anima sunk the statue down beneath its portal, letting the deeper side of death pummel and punish it. Even thouugh the statues felt nothing, she still felt bad on that way to go. She stood up, and lightly wiped the blood that spilled out of her mouth. She took advantage of being in this class, and casted heal on herself, her mouth knitting together and the pain dissipating. Yet the remains of the blood still were there.

He had to keep calm in this, he knew that these statues would be easy targets but that feeling in the pit of his stomach would not go away.He would have to figure out why as he went along, right now he had to fight, he wont let Yuna get hurt here. Not after she had tried to raise his spirits.
"One thing. I am not only long range."
Angeal saw Yuna jump into the air and begin firing shots at the statues, Angeal turned his attention at the ones aiming his way. She had a vantage point from where she landed, so that meant that he would fight on ground level while Yuna fought on higher ground. His large sword clashed with the fists of the statue. He could feel the force of its strength, but thanks to the buffs that Yuna cast on him he was stronger. With a push Angeal sliced through the statue's arm. He then twisted the blade and sliced though it diagnostically cutting it in half. He didn't need to hold back with these beasts because it wasn't needed. They were the enemy and Angeal would have to fight, there is no simpler logic than that.
"Feel my pain! Come Anima!"
"Anima, what is that?" Angeal heard Yuna shout from where she was. He saw that she had in her hands her staff instead of the guns. The earth was shaking, in his mind he was trying to figure out what was Yuna doing. He looked up and some sort of dimension appear and a large hook and chain drop into the ground. It something was coming, and Yuna was the cause for it. Angeal had no more time to think about it when he blocked another attack that was aiming for him. But his footing was not as solid as he would have liked and it made him stumble.
Angeal finally saw what Yuna had summoned, it was a large beast in what it seem to be in a venus flytrap leaves. The beast had only one eye and four arms, two hands were holding a chain with the picture of some woman. What was this beast that Yuna summoned. He caught the flash that beast made, and the stone statues just burst from whatever power this beast had. Angeal stabbed his sword onto the floor before using his fist and punched one of the statues, his punches were affecting it but they were not killed with just one. 'Such a creature, I haven't seen a monster that large since Bahamut Chaos.'
Angeal jumped back and pulled out his sword from he ground. This was getting easier as the fight went on, mostly because of that summon that Yuna brought out. He glanced at the large sword, his ears picked up one of the beasts was beginning to rush at him.
"Angeal! Behind you!"
Angeal glanced back and saw the beast with its stone blade aiming for his neck. Angeal raised his sword and swung at it as hard as he could. There was a moment where both clashed before the statue started to crumble away.
"I think these are nothing compared to what could be inside, Angeal. I'm keeping my Aeon out."
"Yeah, I got a bad feeling about this Yuna, something that is telling me that we should head back." Angeal voiced his concern. The feeling at the pit of his stomach got stronger. He didn't let out as he continue to fight his way through the statues, only a couple more and they were done. Angeal thrust the blade vertically towards the statue's head. The blade pierced its neck and head, Angeal pushed down on the hilt of his sword as he cut the statue in half.
"Yuna one is heading towards you!" He warned her as he tried to intercept but it was too late. The statue landed a punch on her jaw. The large summon must have sensed the danger because the next thing he knew the remaining statues were being pulled down into the ground. Whatever happened to them must of been over. At least for now.
"Yuna!" Angeal sprinted to where Yuna was, he could see the light green light that came with using cure. He came to a complete stop and examined her. "Thank Gaia you're alright...." Angeal looked down, he had let one slip under him and Yuna got hurt because of it. Sure it was a minor wound, but if the statues used their stone swords? What if they aimed at her neck, just like they tried to do with him? "I'm sorry Yuna, you got hurt because I let one get to you. Do you want to continue on still?" Angeal had to ask, he couldn't risk Yuna getting injured. "I just don't want you to get hurt Yuna, if you did then I would never forgive myself. I swear on my honor that I will not let anything else happen to you Yuna."
It was a simple oath, but to Angeal it meant a lot. He would keep Yuna safe, not matter what the cost it. He kept his head down, he couldn't look at Yuna in the eye at the moment.
