DANI lovett A sound escaped her lips. It was a light touch in the quiet that had grown so thick in her mind. A giggle. Or perhaps the remnants of a giggle. Nostalgia! Now of all times. How long had she been so void? Would it all come back? Was there a chance somehow that she would become the bubbly girl of her yesteryear? Would there be another day that she would wake and find the need to go hunting with her elder siblings or even fishing with her father? But the thoughts reverberated inside her brain, something that still could not feel spoke calmly back at her that there was no reason for her to act in such a way. She wouldn't hunt for survival so then, why do it? This happened a lot with Dani. One moment she felt as if the world was returning to it's original position and then the next her mind would shift and she would almost recall, remember that she was a doll. An unfeeling puppet. Then the part of her that had developed emotion would be hurt. It was clear to her that she did not enjoy this in-between world. She wished she could be either or; full to the brim of emotions or devoid of them all. Her attention whirled back to the current world, the one where she was still a doll. She looked at the man once more and then replied to him with a slight, brisk emotion, "Nostalgia... something like that," She would offer him a smile if only she could breech that area of her brain but still she could not. There was no other reason for her to continue the conversation. She lurched her way into the door, entering it and feeling a burst of air escape. She had entered what appeared the very office she had thought to search for. There was a small lady behind a long, dark mahogany island-like fixture and past that was three smaller desks that seemed to match the long fixture. The long counter seemed to work to separate the area from the office workers to give them more of a secluded work area. There was only one worker there that day, seeing as school was out. Dani looked around and noted that the entrance being linked to the office was a great convenience. The woman behind the desk appeared to be focused on something for a few seconds before actually raising her eyes to regard those that had entered. "Yes?" was the question that was posed. "May I help you?" A better statement, indeed. "Ahhah, I'm just here to look around the school, My name is Brenden, I'll be the new physics teacher," the white haired man chimed briefly before taking a bow. He was the physics teacher, Dani noted as he passed her in the office, reaching the counter before her and telling the secretary why he was there. She was not sure if he was a teacher or not, in all honesty it surprised her now. There was something about him that did not seem like teacher material. Her eyes shifted from the white-haired man and back onto the woman behind the counter. The lady looked to her now, waiting on her to do the same as Mr. Brenden. Without blinking Dani held up the papers she had clutched in her arms for the duration of the walk over to the school. It was her records, fresh from America. "You need these to finish my enrollment, ma'am," Dani still did not smile, even though she could tell now that this would be a time she should. The small woman nodded towards Mr. Brenden before saying, "Ah, Mr. Brenden! We were wondering when you would show up. Please, do whatever you need to. As a teacher you can explore any part of the Contract Ward," she finished, jutting her thumb towards a pair of large double doors to her left, "Due to safety precautions you are not to enter the Notarial Ward for any reason, understand?" Dani blinked. Mr. Brenden was a contractor. Not much different from herself but in some ways completely different. It seemed odd to her that teachers couldn't enter the "Notarial" ward, even if they were contractors. Dani was under the impression that Saitama Safehouse was built to provide equal rights to humans and contractors alike, segregating the classes seemed very... Over-cautious. Dani shrugged it off of herself, however. It wasn't up to her to speculate such nonsense. She was only here to turn in the papers still in her own hands. The lady behind the counter then turned to Dani, smiling, "Who might you be miss?" she had said. "Dani Lovett. My records came in the mail today, from America. I was told you needed them," Dani placed the papers onto the surface of the counter.

I'M FROM THE WORLD OF MEMORIA WHERE I AM A DOLL. I GO FOR GUYS AND I WILL THROW MY WEIGHT BEHIND PSICOM. ------------------------------------------------- Weapon: -- Abilities: OBSERVER SPIRIT: As a Doll she possesses the innate ability to use observer spirits (sends a surreal version of self through a certain medium). Dani is able to send her observer spirits via the medium of glass. As long as she maintains physical contact with glass, Dani is able to track and eavesdrop on anyone near glass. SOUL SPLIT: Most dolls created on Memoria are not blessed with more than one ability; Observer Spirits. However, Dani is an exception. She is able to pull out a piece of another person's "life force". In essence she can slowly deplete another's health over a length of time. She does not do this often. She can manipulate Life Force through her Observer Spirits, causing whomever she is spying on to become unconscious normally. This depends on how strong her victim is. (in other words I would never use this ability without asking staff and the other RPer first.) Personality: All dolls are created in a lab setting. They are not created with emotion, however they have the ability to gain them throughout their normally short lives. Dani has grasped her own emotions to a point, however they more or less echo in her mind as an alien thought. She comes across as quiet and shy when in reality she doesn't speak for the lack of needing to. She does most things based from need, never want. Dani has never smiled in her life. The only emotions she does seem to have is sadness and hurt, which makes her rather depressing to be around. Dani possesses a sense of right and wrong. Although the lines for her are not well defined there are times she will refuse to use her abilities if she thinks no good will come out of it. On this point she is easily manipulated into thinking what she's doing is a good thing when in reality it could be a very bad thing. This was the case when she became an agent of Memoria's Secrecy Core; the rebel-like organization she was bred for. When she realized the evil she had wrought on her own world she "broke" in her own self-pity. Dani wants to be more human but does not know how to. She is a creature of learning. She seems like a toddler most times and does not grasp obvious notions easily even though she appears to be seven-teen. History: Memoria is a world of advancement. It is a very futuristic based world; complete with flying cars and over-used hologram display ads. This is the world Dani was born into. Dani was not a normal citizen of Memoria. Most children were born like normal and with families to love an nourish them. Dani was born into a world of false expectations with a stolen name. Her name originally belonged to the government of Memoria's Lead in Command's daughter. The rebel group, Secrecy Core had gotten their hands on the special genetics program that bred the mass-produced "doll" children. These genetically altered tube babies had two types. The government had no way to determine what the code would do to an infant except that it would do one of two things. Create a Contractor or a Doll. A Contractor was a person much like a doll only they were encrypted with the ability to produce fake emotions so that they appeared more human-like. They also did not use Specters as Dolls did. They were generally gifted with a unique ability. Anything from breathing fire to telekinetics. Their eyes glowed red when they used their abilities. Dani was a doll. The Core had tried three times before her to create a doll, the three before her were then called Ex-One, Ex-Two, and Ex-Three; or just ONE, TWO or THREE for short. Dani grew up with her three "sisters". Because the Core was trying to force all of the experiments into Dolls, Dani's sisters were born with actual emotion. Because of this they were raised by a particular member of the Core but were still to be used as tools. They were each created to look exactly or similar to the Commander's daughter. Dani looked the most similar to her with Two coming in at a close second. For their own sake, her sisters were given actual names. One was called Karina. Two was called Taki with three being named Marisa. Dani never understood why they needed more than one name and simply called them by their predetermined numeral tags. Dani was created for one thing and one thing only; to sabotage Memoria's government and bring back the rightful democracy that the world once had known. At least that was the leader's reel however in the end it was revealed he only wanted to bring the end to Memoria in it's entirety. This man hated what the world had become. He especially hated the Commander but the reasons were never brought to Dani's attention. Dani was to use her abilities and appearance to corner the Commander and pull his "soul" completely from his body. This would result in Dani's death seeing as her body was weak. All dolls were. Dani did corner the man but when she did she realized that he was a good man and ruled Memoria fairly. She could not bring herself to kill him and instead fled her mission. Her first and last one. Because she failed to kill him the Core placed her into a dark room for many weeks. She was still in the room when she fell asleep. Awaking, she found herself in a strange unknown sunny place. She wandered around for days before stumbling upon a military camp belonging to PSICOM. Promising her food and care, Dani accepted their offer to join their forces on instinct alone. Upon questioning the girl about herself she answered them precisely. She was confused at first, an emotion she had only felt once before and that was when she had to fight herself in killing the Commander. A man explained to Dani that she had traveled to a new world. A completely different one from the one that she knew. At this point it was clear that the girl lacked the normal emotions of a person. When explaining to them what she was and the world she came from Dani only had one other stipulation. Help her gain her own emotions.
