I can see your light.
Stella stood in the middle of the deserted street, quietly, unmoving. The sounds were around her, the sounds of a city, but she remained where she was. In her state of thinking, she was hearing nothing but a calm that had descended. A facade though. Nothing would ever be calm again, not in the way it had been years before. The greed, the hunger for power, had all but destroyed the hopes of that ever becoming a reality once again. So what now? What was there to do besides go on? Looking back only made it harder to live in the present. Life went on, events happened. If you tried to keep the future from happening, you would never figure out what could come about. Good or bad, it would come. Those who didn't go along with it were left behind. Stella thought that would happen with her own father, and the the Caelum King. They were too busy desiring the power of the crystal, too busy fighting, to realize what needed to be done. There was no way she could bring the subject up to her father however, as he had become cold in his later years. Cold and almost ruthless. He hadn't always been like that.
It was really only in recent years, that he had become a man she herself, his own daughter, did not understand. Would she ever understand him again? Would she ever desire to try? At times she thought she should simply let events run its course. What would happen if that was the case? Bad? Or good? She shouldn't think about this. Except, that her destiny was now intertwined with that of the opposing side. She knew all to well that was the case. The Prince, Noctis. He could see the light as well. It was a bit frightening. Stella hadn't found anyone else who could see the light, and yet...he could. That had to mean something. What, she wasn't yet sure. Their destinies, however, were now connected. Something that would not be easy. She knew perfectly well how the kingdoms felt about each other though. Stella was stupid by no means. A destiny intertwined was sure to bring chaos to the two families.
Her thoughts turned swiftly to what had been spoken of at their last meeting. Really the only meeting. She had known about the Caelum family all growing up, yet she had not met him until that party. What had he mentioned about seeing the light? He had wondered if they were dying. Could that be true? It had raised such questions in her. A hunger, a thirst for knowledge. "Could it be true...?" Stella wished she could know what exactly this light was, or what it signified. Why could only a select few see this light? It didn't make any sense really. Turning her head slightly to the side, she pressed her fingers against her forehead, before an explosion forced her to remember the present. The city was under attack, that was the only way she could describe the events that were happening. Violet eyes turned up, eyes searching. She disliked fighting, and wished to avoid it. However, as with every problem, the best way to beat it was to simply take on the problem. Fighting wasn't something she wanted to do, yet there was no getting out of it right now.
The crash behind her sent Stella spinning on her heel, ready to defend herself in the strange city. This was not home, but she was strong enough to defend herself. Stella didn't worry about herself. After turning, her eyes settled on the rubble that had obviously been cause for the noise. The dust that came drew her attention for a moment, before a man came into her vision. Emotions overcame her quickly then, and on instinct she took a few running steps forward, her face one of concern. "Noctis..." The whispered utterance was spoken quietly as she rushed toward him. Quickly she caught herself and stopped running, her yellow rune activating around her. Standing tall, Stella looked at The Prince, her violet eyes weary, yet the concern still showed as he took a few stumbling steps toward her, righting himself quickly. Never had she wanted to fight him, but they were enemies. There was nothing she could do about that. Their families were enemies. The war had gone on long enough, but did that matter? If she was being met with the King of the Caelum family, he would cut her down without thought, just because of who she was. Slowly lifting her hand, Stella felt her rune activate around her, glowing, before her rapier materialized in her hand. This was a destiny she had never desired, but it was the events that would come nonetheless. "I'm sorry." Bringing her arm down, her rapier was held lightly but firmly, her eyes narrowing slightly as a feeling of determination came over her. She was sorry yes, sorry that he and she were enemies. She had never wanted to fight him...and still didn't.

STELLA NOX FLEURET HEY THERE, THEY CALL ME STELLA AND I'M CURRENTLY 20 YEARS OLD. I'M FROM THE WORLD OF TENEBRAE WHERE I AM A PRINCESS OF SORTS. I GO FOR GUYS AND I WILL THROW MY WEIGHT BEHIND THE ACADEMY. ------------------------------------------------- Weapon: Rapier - Stella has the ability to summon many different weapons, as they will materialize into thin air and swirl around her. They can be used, much like Noctis, as a way to guard against attack, as well as weapons. Her weapon of choice however, is an elegant thinner bladed rapier. Abilities: - Summoning Weapons: Stella, much like Noctis, can summon weapons. It is unknown if she can do so from the power of the crystal, or if it is a power that the Goddess herself has bestowed upon the young girl. Being able to summon many, the exact number is unknown, and unlike Noctis, normally sticks to her favorite weapon, the rapier.
- Clear Thinking: Stella, given most situations, will not react from emotion. Through years of learning to control her actions and thoughts, Stella can now take, as it were, a step back mentally and think about just what it is she needs to do, as well as the decision she should make and the road it would lead her down. Pausing before continuing with whatever decision she has come up with.
- Thunder/Thundara
- Blizzard/Blizzara
- Fire/Fira
- Cure/Cura
- Poison/Poisonga
Personality: Despite being raised in a wealthy family, Stella doesn't appear to have allowed the money or power to influence her personality. Instead she remains moral and upright, true to her own beliefs on what is right and wrong. At times however, her ability to follow her heart is clouded by that of loyalty to her family, even if the loyalty is misplaced. However, generally speaking, Stella is assertive about her feelings, and has no problems with stating her opinions and thoughts. Along that line though, Stella is polite and tactful, not normally exceeding what she knows as boundaries in the social world. Having been raised with a strong upbringing, with the public eye upon her, she is very conscious of what she says and does, normally using her brain to think of decisions, instead of allowing her emotions to dominate. This isn't to say that she would keep thoughts locked within her. Yet to her, there is a time to speak, and a time to keep quiet. Everything has its own place, including content of what is said, as well as the time and setting. Any problems that are sent her way are quickly dealt with, normally in a direct approach, and she doesn't shy away from solving her own problems, despite her upbringing in a wealthy family. She remains feminine and ladylike however, keeping her actions to what she deems as proper. History: Growing up as she did, in a wealthy family, Stella was, in the eyes of many, given the world at her fingertips. True, in some areas, she was free to do as she wished. Free to go to parties, free to have almost every material desire she had. Yet even that came with a price. Having the eye of the public constantly be on you is something for anyone to deal with, yet for a small child even more so. One false move and she could have brought reproach and shame to the name of her family. The price for having everything you desired materially was a lack of feelings shown, and the eyes of many on her. Despite having a family by blood, Stella grew up without the affection parents normally bestow on their children, as her father was corrupted early on in her life by green and the wars between the countries. Instead the staff her family employed became somewhat of a family in that regard, and Stella finds even now, many lessons she gained while growing to maturity came from them, not her actual family. As she grew older, Stella tried less to please her family, and spent more time thinking about how she felt about things, how she thought. The hypocrisy she saw, the greed, hunger for power, it sickened her. However, family is a hard thing to break ties with. Though she sees them for what they truly are, there is always that part of her that loved them, despite their cold attitude, their thirst for power and greed for the crystal. As years past however, finally it would seem as if the war was coming to a close. There was a party being held as a signing of peace between countries, and Stella was one of those invited to attend. Going there, Stella met Noctis Lucis Caelum, the Prince of the Caelum family. Through a conversation that ensued, Stella realized that Noctis, just like her, could see the light of the Goddess Etro. Interesting her greatly, as not many were granted this ability, and that sparked her interest in the young Prince. The signing party was quickly shrouded in chaos as the country of Niflheim attacked the kingdom. Stella was thrown into the heart of this chaos, but was quickly found and escorted to safety by the staff her father had provided for her. Later on, she meets Noctis in an undisclosed city and prepares for battle with him, despite not wanting any part of actually fighting him. |
