Jihl Nabaat had arrived at the Vallis Media after a short shuttle ride from Initium. She intended to set up an outpost in the area, the purpose of which was top secret. The colonel entered the area of the Media that was more open and the rest and Jihl decided that this would be a prime location to set up the out post. She explored the area with careful detail, wanting to make sure that there was no Academy presence in the immediate vicinity. She had to take care of the occasional monster that would try in vain to make the Colonel it's dinner but nothing to serious.
Jihl was walking back to the site where she decided the outpost would be and was about to radio for and engineering team to begin construction on the base but was interrupted by a roar. The PSICOM commander turned around and noticed a Feral Behemoth running towards her. A common person would simply stand there in fear and let the creature take them but Nabaat was far from common. She merely smirked as the beast rushed towards her and summoned two of her Azure Behemoths between herself and the Feral. The wild Behemoth could not stop in time from it's full sprint and the first Azure brought it's fist down onto the Feral's head. Driving it into the gound and forcing the Feral to a full stop.
Needless to the say the Feral was stunned badly and before it could recover the second of Jihl's Azure Behemoths brought it's blade down fast and severed the Feral's head from the it's body. [red]"Dispose of that trash."[/red] Nabaat said dismissively. One Azure picked up the head while the other flung the Feral's body over it's shoulder and they walked off to a place there they can dump the corpse. With their task done the Azure Behemoths returned to their mistress and awaited further orders. Jihl had already ordered and team to come down and begin setting up the outpost. It would take some time to get there. After all it was not easy to move a large amount of equipment and material without alerting the Academy or other factions that might want to disrupt PSICOM's operations. For now Jihl kept watch on the site. Not exactly a job for the commander of PSICOM but Jihl did like to do things herself from time to time.

[/i][/color]With that thought the Seeress came to a stop and rested her hand on the side of a rock. So many things had changed since Caius had been killed. PSICOM was back up and running and The Academy had expanded massively. Neither interested Yeul in the least bit. She had seen multiple visions from PSICOM and the Academy. Maybe her personal views leaned more towards the Academy, but since Caius was back...she decided to just continue what she had been doing with Caius. Follow and keep silent about her views on his actions. Noel. Serah. Give me a future that's happy. Vallis Media, some place she had seen quite a lot. Well more technically previous memories from other Yeuls'. As of right now her favorite place on Pulse was New Bodhum. The seaside town gave off a homey feel and felt safe. Paddra City was nothing but ruins and overrun by the Academy. For a brief moment she did wonder what Paddra City would be if civil war never destroyed it. If that vision never came to me. That was the price of having Etro's Eyes, you see visions that can bring turmoil and chaos. Visions that strike fear in hearts for what's to come. One vision of happiness and smiles was worth it. In Augusta Tower, that was not the first vision she could remember with smiles and it would not be the last. The sounds of battle filled Yeul's ears. Sounded as if a Behemoth had found a battle. Keep moving and one wouldn't find Yeul, Caius was not here and could not protect her right now. Yeul reached up with a hand and clicked the button on her headdress. In one quick motion, her hair was tied up and a sheer veil fell over her face. Yeul removed her hand from the rock and resumed walking down the path. As she turned around the corner Yeul noticed a person near by. Not just any person, someone that had appeared in her visions frequently. Jihl Nabaat. Her face remained expressionless as she stared at the woman. Yeul knew of her hatred for L'Cie and cruel ways. Yeul had no wish to engage in a conversation with the woman. The two Azure Behemoths also kept Yeul at a distance. Her green eyes took in her surroundings and chose to just wait there until it was safe to leave.[/ul]

A lone warrior walked along the mountain path with no particular goal in mind, besides the usual. The serene atmosphere and fresh air was a change of pace for the warrior. What warrior was walking the path? It was none other than the great Gilgamesh! As a warrior he always faced battles that polluted the air with death which had a misting scent of iron. Lately though he was only accompanied by the endless void. Seeing an endless sea of black for most of your life would get pretty boring don't you think? Anyway... the fresh blades of grass against his boots made a delightful sound to his ear. The great red warrior continued down the path until he heard the call of a monster! The monster call was all too familiar to him. "Behemoth!" Exclaimed Gilgamesh as he turned to listen to what direction the calls were coming from. With great haste he made his way to the open area to see that there were not one, but three behemoths! Two of the behemoths that he caught a glimpse of were different in regards to the other one, though it all but shocked him.
"Every place I go I see a new one of these things." Gilgamesh muttered to himself as he leaped from where he was towards were the behemoths were ...but one was vanquished! A behemoth had killed one of its own kin! Such savage beasts they were, but that was to be expected in such monsters. You could say that they could be compared to warriors, killing off other weaker ones to prove only the strong can survive! Gilgamesh turned his attention to the girl, the blue behemoths didn't seem to be bothering her. "The unrestrained beasts are becalm by the beauty." Stated Gilgamesh as he surveyed the area, something feeling eerily familiar. "Where are we?" He asked.
If Gilgamesh could get a grasp of where he was, he would be able to add to the map of where he had been. The last he remembered he was at some coliseum, luckily some people actually found and downloaded him. He was unsure what was worse, forever being trapped in the rift or digital limbo. After a quick shutter at that thought he resumed his normal calm demeanor. Regardless of where he actually was a new dimension always meant more new weapons for him to find!

It was tough having to leaving the town after meeting Tifa again, but he couldn’t have her worrying about him all the time. Hopefully a bit of exploring around the area could clear his mind and get him to relax a bit. Brushing his hand over his forehead a moment over his brand he couldn’t help but make a soft sigh as he crossed an unfamiliar plain.
It wasn’t long before the land became narrower as he crossed into what appeared to be a canyon of some sort, or least it seemed like it wasn’t long anyway. Staring at the high cliff walls on either side Denzel took in the new surroundings that looked a lot different the open field he was in earlier. There didn’t seem to be any settlements yet from what he’d seen so far, but there was still evidence people came here often. Hearing a loud roar not too far ahead Denzel decided to hurry forward to check it out, making sure to keep to the brush for an easy exit if things looked dangerous for him.
When he got closer he found three large monsters fighting in a clearing that resembled the behemoths from Midgar only slightly different. Two of them seemed to be fighting the third as a team, if monsters could even fight as a team, with a woman slightly behind them. Wasn’t that dangerous she could get hurt. She didn’t look to be a fighter like Cloud or the others so she probably shouldn’t be out here alone, but then neither did he and look where he was. Denzel had to look down quickly to avoid looking at the beast being beheaded, looking slightly shaken as his gaze came back to the two hoisting the corpse and the head up to be dragged off. Where could they be tak….his thoughts began before being cut off as they started coming toward the direction of his hiding place.
Looking around for something better he decided for moment to keep backing up away from in the hopes that they’d either reach where they going first or he could find somewhere else to hide. Fortunately it seemed they weren’t going far with the corpse and having dropped it off went back the way they came back to the woman. Following behind them again, this time giving them more distance due to being slightly more on edge from what he’d just seen, Denzel followed them back to the clearing where the woman was quietly sitting down as if waiting for something. Unsure of what to do he swallowed some air and kept crouched down in the brush too scared of the behemoths and unsure of this woman to really do much else at the moment.

What was going on now? First there was that animal that had intruded on this newly acquired PSICOM property but now there was a new intruder. This time it was not another rabid beast but now a man. A man was rather tall. From what he said he seem… excited to see her behemoths and he also commented on the lack of her behemoth’s hostility against Jihl. As the man made his presence known Jihl’s Azures moved so they were in between the man and their mistress. Jihl simply smirked and stepped through her beasts and regarded the newcomer. [red]“You are in the Vallis Media and are also trespassing on PSICOM property. I suggest that you tell me who you are and what your business here is.”[/red] Jihl said in a calm but authoritative tone. Jihl waited for the man’s response but as she did she was also examining him more closely. There was something familiar about him. The way he talked, his clothing, it reminded her of a strange coliseum that she could only vaguely remember. She quickly dismissed the thought. Her mind needed to be in the here and now.
There was movement out of the corner of her eye. She could have sworn that a bush over to the side had moved. Of course bushes did not move by themselves and there was no wind to speak of in this place. The high cliffs were quite effective at shielding the Vallis Media from most of Pulse’s extreme weather which was another Nabaat had picked this location but that is not the only purpose that the cliffs served. They also serve the purpose of shielding the new outpost from Academy detection by blocking radar signals and scans. But that was besides the point right now. Without taking her eyes of the newcomer Jihl spoke up. [red]“If there is someone is else hiding I suggest you come out. If you do not comply my behemoths will flatten the entire area until they find you.”[/red] Of course there was no way of knowing if there were actually anyone else here besides the man but that was not a chance Jihl was willing to take. After all, it could have just been a random creature that made the bush move. There was just no way of knowing.
It didn’t really matter if there were other people here or not though. She was not in favor of entering into a battle at this point she would react to any attempted attack with precision and ferocity. She of course had the two Behemoths that stood to each side of her but she could always summon more to her aid if needed. However she did not depend on them. She wouldn’t be the commander of PSICOM by relying on monsters to fight for her. She was a dangerous opponent in her own right and she knew how to fight. However, with the convoy that was coming it would not be ideal to be engaged in a battle when they arrived. It would make things very messy. She could only hope that the man or anyone else who might be here would not be foolish enough to attack her.

[/color] Yeul said when in speaking range and continued walking. "Gilgamesh, I meant no harm." If anything, she could at least try to show Jihl just that. Her guardian was not by her side, this sent a little fear through her as she stood before the Jihl. Was silly to wish for her guardian, but she still found herself wishing for him to be near. When around danger with Caius, he gave her comfort in being safe and sound. Without him and around danger, there was no comfort. I miss you. Yeul thought and felt the little girl in her come out with that thought. Small things to wish for. As troubled as her thoughts and feelings were, Yeul kept a calm composure and a nonchalant expression. [/ul]
