"Can I...do this...?"

She said softly allowed, her heels clicked and clacked across the stone ground which lead into the forest. The feeling of nervousness filled her heart, she'd never gone anywhere much without a friend. But, everyone was stranded and Terra was the only survivor. She'd escaped somehow, night after night everyone encouraged her to fight on and get free. She did so, promising to return to her friends who would either be eaten, or just plain thrown into the river to drown. "I...I can't do this. No." She paced even faster, fiddling her fingers constantly, realizing she'd began shaking her minty green hair at the sheer thought of giving up. "No! I can do this!" A burst of confidence busted into her body, but once fully getting into the entrance she froze up, backing away from the thought of failing. "But, If I fail, I'll never see them again..." A simple look of worry came upon her face, for she'd been through too much to let a silly monster bring her down of all times, but in the back of her mind she couldn't help but think badly. This was bad, where did all the confidence go and who took it all? Simple. No one. Terra was just turning back into her old self, one she vowed to never return to while learning of the truth path to courage. "I will not go back! I won't! I will stand up!" This time she didn't back down, but ran forward into the sun colored forest. Her footsteps continued to kick the ground, time moving at a pace slower than herself, and before she knew it a cave was in her sight its insides full of darkness.

"No more running! I can do this!"

The feet didn't stop running till she was at the edge, the edge of a cave that didn't hold a single candle. A flame from her hand arose, while dripping of water could be heard in the background. Drip Drip Drip. It made her uneasy, but she couldn't go back to doubting herself, everyone believed in the strength, so she needed to as well. The flame flicked, revealing muffed mouths and people chained to walls, all staring at something behind the young woman. "Guys! You're-" She didn't hesitate but reacted, as fire balls were blasted at the giant ogre pushing him back a bit. AS bunch of muffles were heard behind the girl, but she turned to them with a smile. "Don't worry, I can fight!" Terra was ready to throw down, she wouldn't be afraid anymore cause it would do her no good. "I've got this!" The monster ran towards her, but she iced him right in the face, eye balls still moving about. "See...wasn't too hard. Hehe. Now, lets get you out of there." The muffles were cheers, the giant monster was too quick and so was his club that struck the back of her head. A darkness settled around her, but she couldn't get up or open her eyes. "No! No! No..." The thoughts were loud, everything had gone wrong...so horribly wrong so wrong that she glowed brightly, blasted away in an Esper fashion and feel to her hands and knees Terra's friends rushing to her side smiling widely at her, as she looked at them with tears in her eyes, she'd finally gained confidence to do what it takes to save her dear friends.

"Malevolent Winds!" -- Tornado -- Summon three tornadoes around Terra that spin and combine into one. Deflects attacks. Magic!" -- Firaga -- Create an explosion of flame around opponent. "Oh, perfect light. I want to end this!" -- Ultima-- Conjure a spherical field of energy around opponent that explodes after growing larger. "Hades Fist!" -- Meltdown -- Charge energy and shoot a ball of fire. Depending on how long she charges for, Terra can shoot three different forms. Most of the time, she'll charge the attack for a short time, this fireball has a low range, quick speed and casting time. Once angered a tiny bit, depending on the person she'll charge for longer creating a medium sized fireball with medium range, speed and a strong homing system. The final flame is much larger in size, it bounces off walls and obstacles, has the longest range, semi speed and stronger homing system. "Get Away!" -- Blizzara -- Shoot a large piece of ice which splits into smaller ones on contact. She's also able to spin this around herself and hit her opponent with the ice orbs. "Darkness of Gravity!" -- Graviga -- Conjure a ball of darkness over the opponent's head that descends and slams them into the ground. "Heaven's lament!" -- Meteor -- Summons several falling fireballs that stuns the enemy. "Jolt!" -- Thundara -- Summon four lightning bolts that converge on the opponent. "Sorrowful waters!" -- Flood -- Summon three bursts of water from under the foe, with a slight delay between the first and second. "I won't be defeated!" Riot Blade/Esper Form -- Able to fly through the air, attacks the opponent with Blizzara, then charges magical energy into her arms, spins and fires four crescent-shaped bands of energy at the opponent. Personality: Terra is the definition of confused, when first starting out she didn't know what to do and questions every action she took or kept silent about it. She still does so sometimes, but not as often compared to when she had memory loss. I wouldn't say this one isn't frightened anymore, but she still has a bit of a scare here and there but depends on her location or situation. But, since moving on up Terra's become a tad more determined and assertive with her words Usually allowing others to see her maturity, and growth from so long ago. If she sees a fight, so won't jump right into it but watch to see if she's needed or would just get in the way. Now, even if she does feel like this Terra isn't all too scared to do too much especially defend people. She knows that believing in herself, can always do best then doubting especially if she feels the situation is right. If around people she doesn't know, she'll freeze up sometimes and become like a shy little bird. She tends to speak if feeling trust from the person, or no hostile auras. A simple person to also get along with, considering she has a bit of an innocent feel to her but not too innocent. Once angered, she will be a tad more direct with people hoping to get her point across. She's also got a motherly side, once figuring out herself she watched kids in a village and pretty much mothers any child seen that reminds her of her own self. History: Terra was born in the Land of Espers, to an esper father, Maduin, and a human mother, Madeline. Two years after she was born, the Gestahlian Empire raided the Land of Espers and abducted Maduin. Madeline, with her last breath, told Emperor Gestahl to keep away from her daughter; however, it was too late. Terra grew up in the custody of the Empire, and was raised as a weapon of mass destruction. The exact details of this part of her life are unknown, but she developed a fondness for Moogles during this time. In addition, in large part because of her ability to practice magic due to her heritage, she was also promoted to an elite Magitek Knight. Eventually, the Imperial general Kefka Palazzo took a keen interest in her and put a Slave Crown on her head, forcing her to obey his orders directly. Among them was to annihilate fifty of the Empire's finest soldiers, which she did with ease. Presumably this was a test of whether the slave crown actually worked and/or her ability to do so. Sixteen years after the raid on the Land of Espers, Terra is assigned on a mission to Narshe, accompanied by two Imperial troopers: Biggs and Wedge. The mission was to do research on, and to retrieve, the frozen esper lying in the mines. The trio succeed in reaching the esper, but its sheer power removes Biggs and Wedge from the area and knocks Terra unconscious. She is rescued by Arvis, a resident of Narshe, who removes the slave crown and nurses her back to health, although Terra suffers from total amnesia, although she does retain the memory of her first name. The local police know of her location and wants her in custody due to her former control by the Empire. Arvis helps Terra escape, but the guards catch up to her in the mines. This forces Locke Cole to rescue her, along with a group of moogles. They succeed, and Locke takes Terra away to Figaro. She's then put through several trials to where it test her wits and courage, as she discovers her true origin of coming from the Esper words and that someone like herself can really succeed. Till this day, she can be a bit timid and such but she does her very best.
