Yuffie sat up confused. This didn't seem like Gaia anymore. At least not part of it she had ever seen before. The ninja stood quickly, glancing around the area. She wasn't sure how she got here but she was sure as hell going to make whoever it was pay. She shoved her hands in her pockets, her materia was gone. She frowned, well not exactly hers, but it had been on her person last she remembered. This only proved to heighten her anger. While she was generally upbeat and cunning, though some might argue childish, an angry Yuffie was a scary Yuffie.
She wandered a bit, only taking a few minutes to confirm that she definitely wasn't in Gaia any longer. The place seemed to foreign, and it gave her an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach. She wandered a while longer, spotting a glint of metal she could not ignore. First and foremost she was the Great Ninja Yuffie Kisaragi, a great theif. Shiny metal meant valuable pr dangerous, occasionally both. Which attracted her curiosity instantly. She squealed in excitement when she recognized the bit if metal as her Conformer. She wondered, briefly, how it managed to land so far from where she woke up. She began walking, and walking, and walking. She was trying to find a settlement, or at the very least a fresh water source. Water usually led to people. That was basic survival. Not to mention it was important to her continued survival. She wandered somewhat aimlessly for a quarter hour before an idea sparked in her head. She rummaged through her pockets until she found the thing she was looking for. Her phone. She punched in a few numbers, Tifa's numbers to be specific. When she brought the phone up to her ear there was nothing. No sound that signified it was going through, or even one that told her that she couldn't get the call through. Just dead, somewhat static silence. She groaned, it was worth a try. She shoved the thing into her pocket and continued on.
For hours she walked. As each minute went by it was seeming more and more hopeless. "This is great, just great. I'm going to die out in the middle of nowhere." she groaned. This was not part of her plan. She never planned on dying like this. She planned in dying when she was old and wrinkly and icky. And most likely last, seeing as her friends were mostly older than her. Save for Marlene and Denzel. Or die noble in battle alongside her friends. Not like this, not in the middle of nowhere where no o e would find her body. She knew the feeling of not knowing where her friends were, if they were safe, and if she'd ever see them again. It was almost worse than hearing news of their deaths. She may seem like an airhead, but she didn't want them to go through that. Not because of her.
Anger at her thoughts washes over her. "Stop thinking like that. You're The Great Ninja Yuffie! You can survive this." She told herself. She pressed on. She was going to get to see them again. All of her friends. If she didn't, if she died, she wasn't going to be remembered as a coward, as someone who gave up.
