The sensation of being drug into a wormhole of conflicting colors and light had surrounded his consciousness. His body twisted violently to the funnel shape of the light sucking him in, dragging him by the ankle of his leg. His pools of aqua-marine widened in a calm surprise as he was pulled in it. His expression was cool and calm, only showing a hint of emotion by the furrowing of his brows. " What is this madness ? " he wondered in the depths of his thoughts.
As a flash took over his sight and the feeling of free falling through miles upon miles of air took over him, the Warrior was willed to awaken. The pale blue of his armor glimmered with the light of an unknown sun; for only moments later he had been sitting contemplative on his woolen bed.
With the eddies of the wind ripping his helm off his head, a flourish of silver hair shot up behind him. His locks of silver rippled with the sun as he decided to take charge of his fall. The expression on his face was one of powerful determination and a practiced calm that only a earnest veteran of battle could obtain. Coming upon a cloud The Warrior clutched his body inwards, his arms covering his chest in an X form; letting the droplets of water splash against his armor. Exiting out the other side he opened his arms and dove head first towards the quickly approaching ground.
From above, the wilderness that had surrounded him held little signs of civilization, the necks of gargantuan sized beast lifted higher than some of the cliffs below him, and many smaller four-legged beasts drunk at the widened stream of a pristine body of water. Now he may have held a good glance at his current situation but he predicated that once he landed he would be lost in a primal and unfathomable new world.
Which brought his more dire and present situation to hand. He was falling at least three hundred meters to the ground at a break neck pace and he had little to keep him from hitting it. While the air drowned out his hearing, it didn't stop the screech of a massive winged creature coming from his right side.
This was perfect, now he had a means of escape. As the beast snapped its beak-like jowls open to eat him, The Warrior twisted his falling body towards it, and with a burst of light summoned a shield of pale-blue and gold. The beast snatched him up, thinking it would get a easy meal but all it had gotten was a shield in the roof its bottom and upper mouth.
The heat and smell of the beast's breath reminded him of a sewer and brought a slight snarl to his calm face. Soon enough the beast's frantic reaction had sent the two spiraling and flying recklessly through the air. The Warrior looked over his shoulder by some unseen feeling. They were heading towards the thick-leathery neck of one of those tusked animals. Turning his head back towards his shield, The Warrior place placed both his feet against it magical body and offered the Avian words of condolence. " Forgive me Avian.. "
A second later he launched himself off his shield and towards the neck of the beast, releasing its handle and returning it too the light that had summoned it earlier. What happened to the bird he cared not for, but as he neared the upper neck of the fortress size creature, he summoned his blade - which was by far abnormal in appearance - and stabbed it into the beast's neck. His momentum and fall causing him to slice its throat down the side a couple of feet more than expected. The blood of the beast fell down its neck and rained pellets on his shoulder guard, leaving his armor in a foul and iron-smelled liquid.
The warrior held the handle of the blade tightly before rocking his body lightly and flipping to the ground. With the clanking of his sabatons hitting the ground, The Warrior held his hand and waiting a second for seemingly nothing, closed his eyes in mediation. Quicker than expected the beast let out a thunderous bellow and quaked the earth with its fall. Just then The Warrior's hand clutched tight to the left horn of his long-before taken helm. " By Cosmos' will, may the light guide me. " he told himself, looking forward and facing the threat of a pack of weird looking four-legged creatures. " Prepare yourselves. "
