The Warrior stepped lightly through the wide cavernous valley, its light-brown rocks etched out by whatever force of nature had flowed through it. Through the space in his helm, where his eyes laid, he could see the light of an opened land, one that was as clear as the best of summer days. " I have no idea why I've been tossed forward through the time slip, but I must say this world is dangerous enough without the hands of Chaos interacting with it. " His thoughts now wondering back to several native monsters that he had slain on his small journey. Though he made sure to stay away from those that were several times his own size or those that roamed in packs of more than twenty.
When he thought about it deeply he couldn't get the memory of a certain creature...
No something far more than any creature out his mind. Though that could wait for another time. For now he had to find the source of the Chaos in the world and solve it; so that he could return to his own time.
The Warrior's pale blue and gold armor clanked against its segments, leaving the dull clinks of steel against steel in the air. He stepped out into the light and looked upon a vast and wide space; one that was clearly inhabited by various species. The large tusk-like gargantuans roamed the lands unchallenged and even formidable behemoths sprinted across the area in droves.
Even still though, his expression never changed and his will remained steadfast as he continued walking forwards. With the sun at his back and the wind coming from the west, his appearance appeared to be of exotic and foreign beauty. His seablue eyes observed the creatures with caution, but his fist were clenched at his sides and ready to go - though swinging with his strides they were still ready at any moment. " I need to find a settlement. These beasts can tell me nothing. " he thought as the horns of his helm attracted the attention of a behemoth looking dog slash bull beast.
He halted and his gaze met the feral pupils of the monster and just like that it had decided he was its prey. The powerful warrior sighed a calm yet irritating breath as he took a step back and lower to the ground. Facing the creature, the fingers of his left hand touched the ground as his right came straight out, ready to grasp the handle of his blade. As it approached fifteen feet within him, a burst of streaming light summoned his blade and he was ready to face the monster in combat.

The Warrior held the handle of his blade tightly as the monster quaked the earth with its charge. " Here I come... " he said to himself, bringing the sword in front of him. The beast let loose a bellow that blew back the strands of his revealed silver hair. The bellow hadn't even made him bat his eye though; the Warrior held no fear in his heart of any monster. His belief in the light was too strong for worries.
The beast trampled the green grass under him, attracting the attention of other monsters but none dared too get in his way. His bull like teeth bellow again once he was up on him, now ten feet away and closing in. With a quick and decisive thrust forward, the Warrior spun; coating his blade in potent light magic and spinning between the crook of the monster massive arm and body. The blade sliced the beast's right side, splitting it open and wreaking havoc on the pain vocals of the monster.
The Warrior hit the earth and rolled over to face the monster again; trying to see if it was still going to fight. The monster spun around with a primitive determination in its crazed glare. It stood up on its hind leg, grabbing the mechanical spine on its back and holding it as a hack saw. The Warrior stood up straight, the horns on his helm gleaming from the bright sun above. " Persistence.. That is a valuable trait beast. " he told it. The Warrior slowly swiped his blade from his right side to his left, creating five shining blades of magic in front of him. " But this will end your rampage."
The monster ran towards him now and The Warrior; knowing the monster's limits turned his back on him and started his track again. Once he faced towards the sun and started to walk again, the blades shot forward and stabbed themselves into the torso of the monster. A piercing, muscle cutting sound came then they were followed by deep concussive explosions. Its blood drained down it four meter height and with a tremble it fell to the ground. The Warrior's stride hadn't slow as it fell and in fact he was actually very much comfortable in the hazardous area. Though his cool and steel expression wouldn't show it. It would take several hours before he would enter the next stage of his environment and reveal his new objective.

He saw it all. The man with the swords taking down such a beast. it must of been him that also fell the other bodies he met, providing the young Thief a collection of items worthy of selling, and this one was no different. Good thing too, considering he decided to leave he body behind. "Salvage time!" he whispered to himself, dragging a bag of other loots behind him to the monster. "Now let's see... what looks good... what look good...." Those fangs certainly looked sharp! If he could deal with the dead breath, then everything should be fine!
Opening up the beast's jaw, a wiff of its breath swam into his face, causing him to back off, waving the air as he joked telling it, "Two words: breath mint," before pulling his dagger out. Hovering his dagger around, his eye caught the biggest one, causing him to grin before shoving his dagger into the gum underneath. "Now be a good monster and let me get that tooth," he told the dead beast as he pried on it. Surprisingly, it was in there tight. "Cmon... cmon.... get out of there already!" The sounds of his fight with the tooth kept on getting louder and louder, until one final pull. When it popped out, it caused him to fall onto his back. Getting up quickly, he raised the tooth up and yelled out, "Victory!" Maybe too loud, as the warrior was close enough to hear...

The Warrior had been on his way out, on his way to continuing the path that would lead him to the light when a cry of " Victory " echoed through out the opened land. His armor made a final clanking sound as he halted and turned his gaze over his shoulder at the child. He was surprised to see a human, even more so a child. Normally he would have no problem speaking too a kid but this boy had been following him. And on top of that The Warrior hadn't noticed him until now, in other words the lad held some collection of skills that made him dangerous. The Warrior turned his side towards the dark brown haired boy, his gaze emotionless. " You are quite young to be traveling this far out. Were you following me ? " he asked while the fingers of his sword-hand started cringing as if to grasp the handle of a blade. It was never a mistake too be to careful.
For the most part the monsters around them hadn't noticed or taken particular interest in the pair. Though a couple of four-legged predators seemed to had drawn closer to them, masking their movements by moving around the large pond about twenty meters away from them. For a minute The Warrior would wait but if no answer came then he would expect the boy to flee, of course this would pull on The Warrior's chivalry and he would have to escort the lad back home. Maybe he could take him to another village.

When the sound of the man's armor stopped clacking in the air, he paused and looked up at the heavily armored man just to watch him turn and face his direction. Busted! rang in his head as his face showed the same exclamation. His voice was pretty monotone, but bold. And the weapon he carried, no way a dagger could easily beat that alone, so as a precaution, he placed his tooth trophy into the pile of items before replacing it with an icicle shard known to be an Antarctic Wind.
"So what if I was?" he asked, pointing at the pile. "I mean, this could finally get me a decent room to sleep in and food for three nights! I mean, if you aren't going to loot the bodies, someone else is going to. Might as well someone who needs the gil, right?" he hoped that was a good enough excuse. Besides, it was a good enough collection of loot for the day, so he may as well cash out now. Bundling his stack together, he heaved the pile off the floor... right before falling over with it. "Ow..." he muttered, rubbing his butt, "How in the name of Chaos do the Heroes of Light in the story carry practically a hundred items of everything! Does Cosmos grant them pants whose pockets are connected to an alternative dimension?"

The Warrior paused for a moment, his shimmering blade bursting into existence at his hand. He walked up quickly to the young lad, the tip of his blade cutting the ground as he jetted off into a short sprint and swung it in a uppercut fashion to the left of the boy. A torrent of light cut the ground a foot deep before arcing into the air and slicing the wing of an avian diving towards them. The screeches of the beast echoed out in pain before it had spun and fell into a heap of dirt behind the boy. The beast let out a dying breath of warm rancid air but its eyes closed.
The Warrior stood beside the sitting boy. " You said Cosmos correct ? " he started, keeping his eyes on the laid beast and from the boy's gaze. " Do you know of the conflict afflicting this world ? And if so, Are you a chosen Warrior of the light ?" His blade dispersed with waves of light into thin air, leaving his hand empty. After that he placed his cold, stern eyes on the boy as if expecting an answer sooner than later.

Wait... What was he doing... Why was he puling out his weapon... and coming closer... and closer... and closer?! He's going to kill me! Watching his arm move, he wrapped his hands around his head and ducked into a ball, as if it would do anything to block a metal sword (Sorry kid, but clothes don't work that way). He felt the energy pass right by him before a cry echoed in the sky flowed by a thud. However, he kept himself in a ball for only a moment longer before looking over at the avian creature that was just slaughtered.
Releasing a held breath, he listened to the armored man once more, who seemed to of understood his references. Considering he normally got odd looks when he says such things and just pass him by,he could not help but look up and reply, "I know of the conflict in my home, but this is nothing like it. And where i am from, it is said that the Heroes of Light are granted a crystal from her as a sign of being one of the chosen. Only when the crystal is powered by its Light can it grant the owner their true power." Rolling over to his pile of loot, he tried to organize it better for carrying, continuing with, "As far as I know, I never came across such crystal. Besides, why would Cosmos be interested in a kid like me? My dad would most likely make a better Hero..." A tear rolled down his cheek as the memory of his fathered flashed in his mind. Even then, he could not see the image of his face. Using his dagger, he went and cut some rope as he tried to use it to create a form of back bag.

The Warrior, interested in the boy's words turned his side towards him. His eyes now on the boy, The Warrior could only listen intently, doing only the slightest of movements to reduce the clanking of his armor clad body. " Your home ? Are you a native ? " he asked, crossing his arms over his chest and awaiting for the boy to gather his things. He had already made his decision to accompany this boy back to his village. As " THE " Warrior of Light it was his duty as Cosmos' vessel to stop all conflicts in the World, even one as foreign and dangerous as this one.
Once the kid had wiped his tears and stood up with his bag, The Warrior spoke. " Take me with you. Take me to your home village, so that I shall get a better understanding of this conflict. " The man's eyes were cold and blue like ice, touching the boy with a steel calm that held a the utmost nobility and confidence in them. " And maybe I can find comrades in a world full of foes. "

When the knight said he would fallow him to his village, he told him, "That's impossible. My home does not exist here. Nevermore or not at all, I don't know, but it is not here." Turning back over to the knight, he screamed at him, "How do you expect me to return to Pravnoka, huh?! Or how about Cornelia?! Everyone I ask, they say such cities don't exist! I may not have lived here long, and I never had a home since my parents died, but those streets are what I called home! So tell me, can you even open up away back to my home!?"
Heaving for breath after his rant, he let off a small growl, muttering, "I typically sleep on the streets of cities as I travel. What I get I sell for food and water to get me by, and if I get lucky, I have enough for a room. Most people get to walk by and enjoy their lives while I got to fight to live another day." Adjusting the bag on his back, he simply said, "You just planned to follow a homeless thief down the streets of a populated city. I wouldn't be surprised if such things suit your needs." And with that, he began walking.
